HomeFirst Cold Winter Shelter

HomeFirst LogoHomeFirst is a leading provider of services, shelter, and housing opportunities to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Santa Clara County. HomeFirst serves more than 4,000 adults, veterans, families, and youth each year at seven locations including a cold weather winter shelter in Sunnyvale.

HomeFirst VolunteerVolunteering is one way you can help end homelessness in our community. HomeFirst works with individuals; groups from faith-based, corporate, neighborhood, or community organizations; and families or groups of friends. You may donate your time at one of the HomeFirst local shelters, family sites, or kitchens, or let HomeFirst help you complete a service project.

IMPORTANT: Volunteers must be 18 years or older at the Boccardo Reception Center or 13 years or older at the Sunnyvale center and their other sites.  All volunteers must be scheduled through HomeFirst volunteer coordinators and supervised by staff. No walk-in opportunities are available.

For volunteer opportunites contact HomeFirst directly. Read and complete the volunteer forms on the HomeFirst website. And look for opportunities in the Sunday bulletin.
