Holy Land Pilgrimage

Sojourn to the Holy Land to follow in the footsteps of Jesus as we explore Jaffa, the Galilee, the Hill Country of Samaria, Jericho and the Jordan River valley, and the holy city of Jerusalem.   Meet with Presbyterian mission peace workers to learn about the region at eye level.

Tentative Itinerary
  • The Galilee
    Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, the Mount of Transfiguration, a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and other sites of Jesus’ miracles
  • The Hill Country and Dead Sea Areas
    Samaritan mountains, Jacob’s Well, ancient Jericho, and swimming in the Dead Sea
  • Jerusalem and Bethlehem Areas
    Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Upper Room, the Garden Tomb, Shepherd’s Field, and the Church of the Nativity, Hebron

$3100 Plus Airfare (Includes comfortable double rooms, all breakfasts and dinners, ground transportation, experienced Christian guides, tips, and all meals except lunch.  Single rooms are an additional $1000.)


This trip is for active participants, and there is walking every day.  Must be in good physical shape for walking.  Bible study class with Libby starting mid-Jan 2019.
