"When No Means Yes"
Luke 4:1-13

Lent is a time when we pause to reflect on our human condition, including the temptations and testing that confront us in daily life and in our journey of faith. While our path is not easy, our baptism provides a firm grounding when we find ourselves in the wilderness. In scripture, in the life of Jesus Christ, and in the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit, we find the path leading out of the wilderness of our lives and into the fullness of God's grace. As we begin this season of Lent, we can be confident that the promises of baptism point us toward the joy of Easter.
