A bumper sticker expresses what many of us may well feel: ‘If there is a will, I want to be in it!’ All of us want to know that our lives count and make a difference in the world. We want to feel that we are a part of something grand and glorious and significant. In the midst of the many things we do and the myriad of demands upon us, we yet believe that God works through human efforts. In baptism we are called, in ministry we serve: thanks be to God!
