"Yes!"

If you asked people to free associate with the words “church” or “religion” they would soon come up with the word, “No.” For many people, Christianity is a system of do’s and don’ts – a great big divine frown over the fun and face of the world. But that is not the faith we celebrate in Jesus Christ. Our text today affirms that “in Jesus every one of God’s promises is a “Yes.” When we gather for worship, we return God’s “Yes” in our affirmations of faith and our response of praise.
