Proof of Life Resurrected

With one honest reaction to the reports of Jesus’ resurrection the disciple, Thomas, would forever be known as, Doubting Thomas. Thomas desired what so many of us have wished we could do, to see and touch the resurrected Jesus. The incarnation and the bodily resurrection of Jesus reveal that God is a God of physical substance. Yet, proof of God’s physical and tangible reality can often seem elusive. Are we post-resurrection disciples relegated to a faith based only on other’s accounts, or are there ways that we can actually touch and see the new life born in Jesus Christ? Both Jesus and Thomas help to guide us as we search for proof of the life resurrected.
