About Rev. George H. Goodrich

We are pleased to welcome the Rev. George H. Goodrich as the adult speaker for the 2012 All-Church Family Camp.

Dr. Goodrich says he enjoys "holding the world loosely; living and loving from my soul in Christ". His speaking topic at camp will be "When Christ Calls - Timeless Lessons for Deepening Discipleship".

Dr. Goodrich has served since 2004 as Co-General Prebyter of the Yellowstone Presbytery, comprised of 26 churches in southern and eastern Montana. Prior to that, he served for 20 years as Senior Pastor and Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church of Reading in Pennsylvania.

He has been married for 34 years to the Rev. Kathy Goodrich, who also serves as Co-General Prebyter of the Yellowstone Presbytery. His daughter Gillian (aged 24) teaches English in Argentina. His son George "Chip" (aged 21) is majoring in Communications at Whitworth University.

A native of Bethesda, Maryland (a suburb of Washington, DC), Dr. Goodrich earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in English and History from Duke University.

Dr. Goodrich's ministry gifts and passions include helping others meet, love and live Jesus Christ; Christian Discipleship through Spiritual Disciplines; Healing relationships; preaching and teaching the Scriptures into life. His hobbies include running, hiking, reading and guitar.
