Redwood Glen Saftey Information
Each year we are fortunate to host our camp at Redwood Glen. This wonderful
camp gives voice to God's greatness from its majestic redwoods to the abundant
natural diversity. To keep this camp special and to honor its importance
to our Church family, we ask that you note carefully the following key points
about Redwood Glen:
- Please be conscious of fire prevention and help to conserve
precious resources.
- Quite time is 11PM to 7AM.
- Never enter a building that is not assigned to our group.
- Unless specifically authorized by a guest group leader, never
leave the developed portion of the facilities (stay on the camp map).
- Be respectful of other groups.
- Turn in all alcohol, weapons, and drugs to the office.
- Wheeled toys such as skate boards, scooters, roller skates,
tricycles, Etc. are not allowed at our Church Camp.
Bicycles are only to be used in the organized ride events.
- Remember that pets are not allowed to come to All Church camp.
- While on the hiking trails, keep on the look out for poison oak, ticks,
and the occasional bannana slug.
- The Redwood Glen camp is bounded on two sides by steep ravines, be
careful!
- Help keep Redwood Glen clean - put all trash and recyclables in
appropriate containers.
- Redwood Glen is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Close your doors
tightly to avoid having unexpected visitors in your camp. Don't feed, chase,
or harass the animals that live there.
- Remember too that Redwood Glen is not responsible for lost or stolen
property. Be safe and lock up your valuables, if you don't need it for camp
consider leaving it at home.
