All Church Camp Policies

1. Camp Site Usage

Due to the large number of people attending camp, we have a policy of one camp site per family. Some sites are larger than others, so if a family needs a larger site, that family must sign up early to secure it, which will likely require the family to take a Phase 1 volunteer job.

If a family requires a site larger than is available, the family may camp with another family to take two adjacent sites for the two families. Note that both families must sign up for jobs at a time that allows them to secure the sites.

2. Alcoholic beverages

Alcoholic beverages are completely prohibited at camp. This is the policy of both Redwood Glen and SVPC.

3. Unmarried couples sharing lodging

Unmarried couples may share lodging only if the lodging includes other adults.

4. Unaccompanied minors

All minor children attending camp without their parent or guardian must have an adult host. Each of these children must have a Minor Medical Form filled out, signed and turned into the camp Registrar.

5. New 2011 Siden Conference Center Sign-up Policy

Due to the overwhelming demand for Siden Conference Center rooms and the need to fairly accommodate camp attendees, the church staff has approved the following new policy effective in 2011:

• Before June 15, only church members, church attendees, and members of the local community may sign up for rooms in the Siden Conference Center.
• Before June 15, a person outside of the local area may sign up for a job, choose different accommodations and be put on the Siden waiting list.
• Siden vacancies after June 15th will first be filled from this waiting list. Any remaining rooms will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
