PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
Presbyterian Women (PW) is a church-wide oganization whose membership is open to all women. The members are women who choose to participate in or be supportive of the organization in any way. PW gives strong support to the mission of the PC(USA) and commits to nurture our faith through prayer and study. PW determines its own leadership, program, and budget. We have four (4) general meetings a year and many of our members belong to small groups called Circles that meet monthly. All women of the church are “Presbyterian Women” and are welcomed and encouraged to attend all PW events. If you would like more information about joining a PW Circle (monthly study group) please contact Co-Moderators: Marian Devine Elsa Amboy

presbyterian Women's Bible Study for 2009-10
In the nine lessons of Joshua: A Journey of Faith, author Mary Mikhael invites us to explore the challenging, sometimes heartrending, book of Joshua. Pursuing such themes as leadership, the promise of land, the concept of "holy war," and outsiders becoming insiders, we learn ultimately to find rest in the justice and mercy of God. TOP |

Prayer Shawl Groups
![]() Prayer Shawl Ministry is one way that knitters have combined their faith and their knitting. According to Jane Bristow, co-founder of the ministry, “Shawls … made for centuries are universal and embracing. They enfold, comfort, cover, wrap, give solace, warmth, mother, hug, shelter, and beautify. They are symbolic of inclusive and unconditional loving. Those who have received these shawls have been uplifted and affirmed.”
Wednesday Prayer Shawl Group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. To join either group or for more information about the history and mission of prayer shawls, please contact Miriam Kishi. Miriam Kishi
