SVPC Senior High Confirmation
Spring 2013
Confirmation is a time when students decide to publicly profess their faith and “confirm” the statements made by their parents/guardians at baptism. If the student has not been baptized, then they will be baptized during the service. Students have the choice to become members of the church through the confirmation process. Only students who choose to become members will participate in Confirmation Sunday.
Because confirmation signifies the individual choice of the student we will walk with them through the course of the class to help them determine if they are prepared to complete the entire Confirmation process and to become members of the church.
The students are required to meet on the following dates to participate in Confirmation:

Sunday, May 5, 10 AM in Room 304

Wednesday, May 8, 6 PM in Room 750

Wednesday, May 15, 6 PM in Room 750

Sunday, May 19, 10 AM in Room 304

Tuesday, May 23, 7:30 PM students meet with session in Room 501
-
Confirmation Sunday, June 2, 10 AM and 5 PM worship services
