Prayer Chain
The prayer chain strives to unite a number of voices, quietly raised to God on behalf of the needs of others and envisioning them in the light of God’s caring love. This group is a “tree”of individuals who agree to pray for others’ immediate (or ongoing) needs or situations when called upon to do so, and then to pass along the prayer request to two additional persons, thus forming a “tree.”
The Prayer Chain continues to operate by telephone as it was originally organized, but now there is a new offshoot — people who prefer to be contacted by e-mail.
