Sunday Church School

BLAST - Children's Church School at 10 a.m. for 1st through 6th grade
 
iBLAST - Children's Church School at 5 p.m. (Intersections) for 1st through 6th grade

BLAST (Biblical Learning and Spiritual Training) is the workshop rotation model used for our 1st through 6th grade Church School classes. BLAST is designed to meet the many and varied learning modalities of our children. Cooking, computers, movies, creative activities and Bible games are the workshops our students attend. It is through these workshops that our children learn Bible stories, Biblical history, worship skills, memory verses and so much more.

 

Stars - Children's Church School at 10 a.m. for 3- and 4-year olds in Room 802; 5- year-olds in Room 505
 
iStars - Children's Church School at 5 p.m. (Intersections) for 3-, 4-, & 5-year-olds in Room 901

For these younger children we offer self-contained classes where children learn Bible stories, make new friends, play, and have fun with their own age group. Each week children receive a take-home sheet with ideas for further discussion and Bible learning.

Children entering 1st through 5th grade

June 9 through August 4 (except July 7 which is All Family Worship)
Fellowship Hall (Bldg 300) @ 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Miracles of Jesus

A short worship service will be followed by a choice of learning centers, which will include:

  • Craft Center:  A craft which will reinforce the specific topic of the day.
  • Bible Skills Center:  Activities, games or worksheets designed to promote and reinforce Bible skills.
  • Outreach Center:  Opportunity to create cards for members of the congregation who are sick, invitations to friends to attend Sunnyvale Pres, birthday cards for friends, thank you notes for teachers, minister or special friends.
  • Design Center:  Design bulletin covers to be used for the childrenâs weekly worship.
  • Library Center:  A quiet area to read books from our Churchâs library.
  • Games Center:  Puzzles, card games and box games, all with a Biblical theme
 
Current 3's, 4's and entering Kindergartners (by November 1)

June 9 through August 4
10 a.m. - Room 802
5 p.m. - Room 304 (Pick-up children in Fellowship Hall)

Bible stories, crafts, songs and snack will be a part of their time together.

 
Entering 6th grade

June 9 through August 4 - Attend church with your family.

 
All Grades

During August, children will join their families in worship; there will be nursery care for ages 6 months - 2 years, and child care for ages 3 - 5 years.

FALL Church School begins September 8.
