Alaska Kayaking & Backpacking
Kayak a glacial bay, weaving among small islands of ice and camping for 3½ days along the shores of a pristine wilderness in the Prince William Sound. As eagles circle overhead, the distant crack of calving glaciers sends house-size blocks of ice crashing into the clear waters below.
Then, for the next 3½ days backpack along a part of the old Iditarod trail in the beautiful Chugach mountains not far from Anchorage. Our route will take us through deep forests, up over Alpine passes, across glacial rivers, and into stunning explosions of Alaskan wildflowers. Join us for an adventure of a lifetime and experience intimately a part of our country that most people don't even see from the tourist routes.
