School Supplies Drive & Backpack Assembling
This summer Way of Service, Young Families Fellowship, and Refugee Ministry are collecting school supplies to assemble Back-To-School backpacks for Refugee youth and under-served youth through Sunnyvale Community Services. You can help by donating new school supplies by bringing them to any church service on Sunday, August 8, or joining us on Saturday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to noon in Room 702 (Phoenix Center) to assemble the backpacks.
Needed supplies include:
- Backpacks (no red or blue)*
- Binders*
- Calculators*
- Pencils
- Folders with pockets
- Scissors (blunt or sharp nose)
- Colored pencils
- Notebooks
- Erasers
- Glue sticks
- Crayons
- Dividers
- Pencil Sharpeners
- Highlighters
- Rulers
- Markers
- Index Cards
- Small Dictionaries
- Binder Paper (wide and college rule)
